Facility Use...

Facility Use... After the fair in September, recreational vehicles and farm equipment owners contract with the fair for storage. The popular storage facility fills fast since the prices are so economical. Locked inside storage costs a minimum of $250 for up to 10 months or $10 per foot, whichever is greater. Outside rates (under livestock barns) are 75% of these prices or $350 for a combine.

New Monthly Storage... The horse barns have been converted into 10' x 25' units with roll-up doors allowing entry of 9'6" x 8'. Monthly rates are $60. Units must be emptied for two annual events: Aug. 31-Sept. 19 and June 14-30.

Mini Storage... Yet another available form of storage is the fair’s mini-storage. Monthly rates are $37.50 for 8'x8', $47.50 for 10'x10', and $57.50 for 10'x20'. The sheds are totally enclosed and have floors. Your own lock protects your belongings.

Renovation... The campgrounds have been renovated to include water, electric & sewer hookups. Showers and a coin-operated washer and dryer are also available.

Other Services... Currently the old fair office is used as the Continuation School during the school year.

The Museum of Local history has a small theater than can be rented for small meetings, film viewings, etc. It contains a screen, tv/vcr/dvd.

The Home Ec Building and Arts and Crafts Building are available for rental. The fairgrounds is the home of Tulelake High School baseball and football games, Pop Warner football, Babe Ruth Baseball, and golfers just practicing. The fairgrounds is rented for not just wedding receptions, but also weddings (it’s a beautiful site for an outdoor wedding with indoor facilities available in case of rain), livestock shows, horse shows, trainings, meetings, dinners, dances, community festivals, picnics. A new outdoor gas barbecue and two gazebos compliment the facilities. Fire camps can even be set up for crews of 1000 and more.

Shipping & Informational Services... The Fair Office is Tulelake’s UPS shipping counter. Other services available at the fair office include copies (10 cents each), faxing (outgoing: $2 for first page, $1 for each additional page; incoming: 50 cents per page). Upon request and for a small fee, the fair office will access the Internet for you, printing out your requested information. For example, if you need the Blue Book value of a vehicle you are trying to sell or wanting to buy, we can get that information for you.
